Watchet’s not so super “super tide”

WZGAZ_DSC_0063A pal of mine sent me a few snaps from one of my favourite West Somerset haunts this weekend. Watchet may well have been the place where Samuel Taylor Coleridge came up with the idea for his epic poem “the Ancient Mariner”. After the eclipse last Friday and the huge tide that followed I dare say the great man may wish he was still around in order to  have added several hundred more verses!
