He took off the wig for our get-together and didn’t turn up with that menacing silver stick in his hand or the evil look in his eye. In the flesh the man behind the mask of Lucius Malfroy is a very nice actor indeed called Jeremy Isaacs. He and I share one big thing in common. We are both enthusiastic supporters of the work of Marie Curie Nurses. This week they launched their Daffodil Appeal to raise a lot of money to help a lot more people, patients and families alike, who are struggling with the horrors of cancer. It is a tremendous cause that should strike a chord with everyone from Hogwarts to Huish Champflower and far beyond…………………
