Haddon Hill phone mast – the fight goes on

11 February, 2016 by Ian

di6BBx4i9Last November the planning authorities gave permission for a new telecoms mast at Haddon Hill. It was meant to connect some of Exmoor’s notorious mobile phone and internet blackspots. Then, without explanation, the firm employed to get permission and operate the mast pulled out. Nobody really knows why – or if they do they are not telling! But many local people are furious. Needless to say I have been raising this matter privately and publicly with Ministers. The latest exchanges came in the Commons this week. I do not intend to let this matter rest.
